We applied our humidity-controlled frames to preserve a rare ancient manuscript from the Ming Dynasty Wanli Era (circa 1600s). This priceless text, along with over a thousand other ancient books, had been stored improperly in a first-floor warehouse, exposed to aging, insect damage, and significant water damage from a heavy rainstorm in 2007.
The condition of the book was deteriorating, with fragile pages weakened by moisture and time. Our specialized frames were used to stabilize the manuscript, keeping it open for viewing while providing maximum protection from further damage. The frame ensures the book’s preservation without compromising its readability or display.
Long-Term Protection: Guards against aging, insect damage, and environmental factors.
Secure Display: Supports the manuscript in an open position for safe viewing while preserving its condition.
Perfect for Libraries & Archives: Ideal for safeguarding rare and fragile historical texts.
Our humidity-controlled frames offer an effective solution for preserving ancient books, ensuring they remain intact and accessible for generations to come.
